I joined Etsy with this, my first shop in 2008. In coming up with a name, I wanted to incorporate my name and I knew I wanted it to encompass any and all of my crafting loves, graphics, photography, crocheting, card making...in other words "The Works!"

In this shop, that's just what you'll get, all of the "Works of Wauters". The categories have changed and expanded in the years since opening. Although I am a professional graphic designer, and have been one for over 10 years, I have crocheted since I was a little girl when my mom taught me. The slippers I have featured are the same pattern I have done since I was about 9 years old. I also love making afghans, probably the most fun for me is combining colors...this goes back to my design background.

Another mainstay has been my printed mini notecards.. These are created with my original graphic designs with the thoughts of helping out my fellow Etsy sellers. They are great little notes you can add your own personal thanks to and pop in your orders. For non-Etsy sellers, they make fabulous little lunchbox notes, or gift tags.

One of my favorite, more recent sections has been mixed media and one-of-a kind ACEOS (Artist Trading Cards), tags and handmade minis. I have found I can combine a few of my past talents in creating these fun little pieces of art, and I adore the creativity that comes out when breaking out the paper, stamps and other supplies that go into making them.
